Is it to make you a better citizen..?
or to impart knowledge...?
I don't think the above two is true.. with due respect to all who score good in current system, I wish to say that it just shows how sincere you were in the last week of the exam.. and nothing else ...
Just on the basis of your marks, you cant decide anything in totality.. so why the mad race of getting 99% and more...
I have seen numerous examples of people of far greater ability scoring so low in exams.. may be the system doesn't excite them to deliver...
The most difficult exam in our country is of Civil services (better known as IAS), and the people who qualify in those are best academically..they have knowledge of all..geography, civics, history, india, asia, world.... almost infinity.. but still most can't stand up against wrong doings.. ?? ever wondered why ?? just think...
